About Us...

We are located in Pope County, which lies in the southeast corner of Illinois, along the Ohio river.  Surrounded by the hills and hollows of the Shawnee National Forest, your are only minutes away from some of the best public deer and turkey hunting in the nation.

As a lifelong resident of Pope County, I can assure you this is the best possible place to harvest your deer or turkey.  I scout year around and have bagged several "big bucks" myself. Decide to stay with us and you'll see why my wife says I'm "crazy" about deer hunting.

If you are interested in spring/summer fishing or other activities, we are only minutes away from the Golconda Marina, Dixon Springs State Park, and Lake Glendale.

We recently built a new lodge which will accommodate up to five persons.  The lodge is equipped with a full kitchen, bathroom, two bedrooms, and a spacious living room.  Washer and dryer are available as well.  If you have any questions or need more information, please don't hesitate to contact us.  We hope to hear from you soon!
